My own journey has involved many years of personal inner work, including psychotherapy, trauma and shadow work, systemic approaches and different forms of spiritual practice. I have explored many ways of understanding myself, my patterns and the experiences that shaped me. Along the way, I learned that change doesn't always come from trying to get rid of what is difficult. Often, it begins with being willing to see what is there, understand it, and give it a place.
Over the years, this personal journey became deeply connected to my professional one. I spent 14 years working as a social worker with teenagers in challenging life situations and their families, and later trained in Systemic Family Constellations. I am also a trained yoga teacher and Reiki Master, both of which have shaped my understanding of presence, awareness and the connection between body and mind.
Today, I bring all of these experiences into my work. Not because I have the answers for someone else's life, but because I know how important it can be to have someone beside you who is willing to look with you - openly, honestly and without judgement
About Me and My Journey
In all the years working as a social worker with teenagers and their parents facing complex emotional, behavioural and family challenges.
This taught me things no training alone could teach: how to stay calm when situations become difficult, how to listen beyond what is being said, and how much can lie underneath anger, withdrawal or challenging behaviour.
Working closely with young people and their families gave me a deep, practical understanding of family dynamics, emotional struggles and the many different ways people learn to cope with difficult experiences. This experience continues to shape the way I work today – grounded, open and without judgement.
Hands-on Experience in Social Work
My own search for understanding and personal growth has led me to explore very different approaches – some through formal training, others through personal experience and practice.
Systemic Family Constellations
I am trained in Systemic Family Constellations, which today form an important part of my work with individuals, parents and families.
Understanding Trauma & Emotional Patterns
Both my professional and personal experience have given me a deep understanding of how past experiences, stress and family dynamics can shape the way we feel, react and relate today.
Body, Awareness & Presence
As a trained Yoga Teacher and Reiki Master, I have spent many years exploring the connection between body, mind and emotional experience.
Different Paths of Self-Exploration
My personal journey has also taken me into inner child work, Advaita and non-dual self-inquiry, as well as traditional shamanic practices and Kambo facilitation. Each of these experiences has contributed to how I understand myself, other people and the many different ways we can approach change and healing.
I don't believe there is one method that holds all the answers. What matters to me is meeting the person in front of me, seeing what is there and finding what can be helpful in that moment.
What Has Shaped My Work
All these experiences – personal and professional – have shaped the way I work today.
I don't believe in one method, quick fixes or telling people what they should do. I believe in looking at what is really there, even when it is uncomfortable. Because what we push away often becomes stronger, while what we are able to see and acknowledge can begin to change.
My role is to create a space where you can be honest, without judgement or expectations. A space to understand what is underneath, reconnect with yourself and find your own way forward.
I bring my experience and perspective – but you remain the expert on your own life.
